      • Saturday I’m returning to Cowboys Stadium for the first time since Sam Bradford lost his shoulder on a dirty hit. Just the thought is causing me terrible flashbacks. I seriously don’t know how you people sleep at night.

For me, it's clutching my sheets in cold sweat. But not because of 2009-- just everything that's happened since.

I would be there but it’s my daughters birthday so I was told I couldn’t go . I even promised I’d be home by dinner

Why not take your daughter to the game?

                    I asked and she declined.

Canzano is compensated quite handsomely for his click-baiting, duck-deriding histrionics, but in this case he's right. This season will mark three of the last four years that the Pac-12 is left out of the playoff. Those four seasons were preceded by Ohio State's drubbing of Oregon in the first playoff five years ago.

                        • Looking more and more likely that Matt Wells will be hired at Texas Tech. good for him.

but on the TT side, it seems a tad risky. 15-23 the 3 years prior to this at USU. if i'm Texas Tech, i'd want to find somebody with a bit more sustained success. having said that, i hope it works out for both parties. Matt Wells seems like a good guy.

Before this I heard his name mentioned for the Colorado job. He knows how to get offensive production. But his record at USU won't hurt him. The only way that school can have success is by having 2-3 rebuilding years followed by a good year.

                              makes sense.

He might as well get paid. He won’t be at TT for long. That school has the worst combination of expectations and reality that I know of.
