[emoji445] Sitake and Detmer are coming to town. I don't buy this at all. Mangum has happy feet and poor mechanics. Always looking at the home run ball.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThat Detmer isn't a good OC

1. We have zero run threat.
2. Cover Bushman and we have no passing threat.
3. Receivers can't beat press coverage.
#3 is coaching.
Once again we were sold garbage during the Spring/Fall.

Lol. What, pray tell, should have been the Spring/Fall message?Originally posted by The_Tick View PostOnce again we were sold garbage during the Spring/Fall.
Go cheer for the Utes. You deserve each other.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

It's like he thinks he is throwing shot put or something. It's really weird.Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostI wish I had something positive to say, but I don't.
Something is physically wrong with Mangum. He's floating balls and throwing ducks. He's uncomfortable in the pocket as well.

Hey...with every driver you've purchased, adding 15 yards, your driving it about 350...right? But wait...no one believes it.
I'm going to start looking at Spring/Fall reports the same way.
But it does make sense. Our offense was lighting up our defense in practice. I just thought that meant the offense was good. I was wrong.
Go get a pedicure.

I don't feign to know squat about QB throwing mechanics, but I know what you're talking about. He had one throw in the fourth that looked like a good throw with velocity. It was tipped by a backer, but he stepped into it.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostIt's like he thinks he is throwing shot put or something. It's really weird.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

You wanna hit up a Zadoch Dinkleman game to see how he looks?Originally posted by Green Monstah View PostI don't feign to know squat about QB throwing mechanics, but I know what you're talking about. LSU looked pretty good. While I expected them to have success running the ball, I didn't expect them to run roughshod up the middle all game. They seemed to have better strength and speed at every position. Their speed to the sidelines, their strength up the middle, and their ability to keep running after contact made for tough going on D.
The few chances the offense got, they didn't do anything with it. There was zero run game. There was little pass protection. There were plenty of poorly-thrown balls.
The last sack I remember, Dye was in the backfield with pass protection responsibility. He didn't block anyone, and I'm not sure who thought he'd be able to block anyone even if he'd tried. Not trying to single him out - though pretty much everyone on offense should be singled out.
