    Week 1: 2016 College Football Thread

    Man I love college football. Even a dog of a game like Hawaii vs. Cal tonight and I'm watching.

    Dylan Collie has caught a couple of passes, looking like a poor man's Austin Collie.

    A few good games this week: OU-Houston, USC-Bama, Georgia-UNC, Clemson-Auburn.

      John Ursua has caught a few balls as well. He started his career in Lehi at Westlake before moving to Cedar City as a senior.

            Nebraska -- Do you have to be told? Since Tom Osborne retired in 1997, there has been one conference title (16 years ago), two major bowls and five coaches. The Huskers have pulled the rare double of late. They have proved not to be factors in two Power Five leagues (Big 12, Big Ten).

                        It's nice to see good teams willing to play other good teams in non conference play. The selection committee rewarding teams for playing these games and spurning teams with soft schedules is finally paying off.
