I'm sure if anyone around here did associate with him, he or she would be a really dynamic and charismatic personality that could keep a polarizing figure like D-Steve in check so that there isn't a Ma'ake-foretold massive genocide at Sam Boyd stadium this Sat. Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.

    • I still want Anderson but would be happy with Kilane Sitaki
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

At some point, I'd be happy with Bingham's coach.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I can't imagine having to spend more than five minutes with the Derik. That would take a man of impressive fortitude.

Yeah, and BYU will end up buying out his UVa contract.

Have I mentioned that I used to be his family's home teacher?

              • Unless there is an announcement today, I have to think the coach is going to be K. Witt. With the game this Saturday, they don't want it to be a distraction so they are dragging the process out until after the game. If it were going to be K. lolo, K. Sitake, R. Anae, or L. Anderson they would have hired them before the dead period.

Also, am I the only one that interpreted Bronco's "I'm not a lifer" as meaning he would be out of coaching soon? It seemed like it was a burn out issue. I thought he would want to move into a different position like AD. I was very surprised that he left for another head coaching position, particularly when he claimed the only other place he would be interested in coaching would be a military academy.

Soon? He first said that three years after he was hired and has repeated it ever since.

I didn't think he would last this long.

Well I guess it was pretty obvious to TH had to know that at some point he was going to need to replace Bronco and had lots of time to work on the plan.

Maybe Bronco was banking on getting BYU into a P5 sooner rather than later so his stock value would take a huge jump. The old "pump and dump". UVa wisely picked up Bronco before the bidding war.

                          • You wouldn't expect a lawyer to lie, would you?
