Not that I would expect DH to be precise with his language and to actually mean what he writes, but how does another school "offer" Taysom?

Unless he's a moron I'm sure Taysom has been checking out all of his options. My guess is he's reached out to several possibilities. He literally needs to make a decision in the next week or so.Comment

I would be more upset about Huntsmen than Taysom. I don't see Mendenhall having much of a long term impact taking kids away from BYU, but there are those who have that relationship and trust in him who might want to move along with him. I just don't see this staff's relationship with coaches in Utah bearing them much fruit. Taysom is a different situation and for his circumstances perhaps a move to UVA makes sense to him. If so more power to him and good luck to that Noble Son of the 208! I really think Huntsman has a bright future at BYU at either OLB or TE and I would like to see that come to fruition. Clearly, Mendenhall put all of those types at OLB first as he was defensive minded but it might be interesting to see if the new regime will throw him in at TE. This shakeup in staff could work out really well for Huntsmen if he ends up as good a TE as some thought he might be coming out of HS. If he can do it then they can RS Bushmen and then in 2017 the BYU TE Train will be rollin' once again.
