I'm not sure why anyone would want the Hawaii job given the lack of support for the program.

Living on the islands for a couple years before getting fired?

I actually think Robert Anae may get some consideration for this job. He wants to be a head coach. Bad. This may be one of his better chances.

Has there ever been a season like this with so many vacancies? I can't remember one. The off-season is going to be nuts.

I think USC has their coach. They'll keep the IC. No?

Either Anae or Sitake would be solid hires for Hawaii, IMO. They can't be too picky over over there.

But can anybody win there any more? It seems very difficult recently. I don't know what the status of their recruiting budget is.

Tom Herman and Justin Fuente are both going to be making a lot more money next year.

I bet BYU will be facing quite a few teams with new head coaches next year. Whitt always has his name out there and given his relationship with the good Dr. maybe this time he jumps. Matt Wells should be getting out of Logan soon. I could see Rich Rod trying to get back to the east coast. Matt Campbell at Toledo will be looking to cash in after this season. Harsin might still be a couple years away from leaving Boise.

Then there is Georgia. Richt always wins just enough to not be fired but never getting Georgia over the hump. If Georgia is going to pull the trigger now is the time.

Is there another program that Whitt would jump too?

probably a few of the openings right now mostly because they have much deeper pockets and greater upside than Utah will ever have.

Nebraska AD already giving Mike Riley the dreaded vote of confidence. The AD is on the hot seat too, no?
