Gotta love the resiliency of this team. I regret I had written this game off before the first quarter was over, but glad I stuck around. I did so in part because I liked hearing LBJ, Mike Tyson and Leviticus being called out several times.

I don't think I've ever seen a team go from leading to totally folding in such a short time.

Whereas it's been a while since I've seen a BYU team need to be down a couple of scores before they get mad and take over a game. Like 20 years.

8 sacks for the game. Goodness. The D held Cincinnati to below pretty much every season average offensive statistic. Tanner continues to be amazing. He'll have 3 weeks to rest that hammy. That utah st game is looking much tougher now. We'll need all the guys back for that game.

I love this team. Man I love them. They just don't quit. I am so used to BYU teams folding when they get down. Not this team. They fight and play hard. It's so damn refreshing to see.

Props to Anae. He found some things to exploit the Cincy defense. That split back formation and running off tackle was great. Perfectly timed draws again. Really loved the play calling. If BYU could have got out of its own way in the first half we would have won by 4 TDs. 2J got the pass protection on point this week. No sacks. Pretty nice holes too. BYU dominated the DL.

After a rough first quarter, Bronco fixed things and BYU went to work. Having our defense whole makes such a difference. Tuiloma commands so much attention it allows everyone else to get one on one and that's where Bronson destroys people. Bronson is unblockable one on one when he wants to be. Finally we're seeing the guy we have expected him to be since he flashed as a freshman. The secondary stepped up in the second. Even when the pressure couldn't get to Moore, he had nobody to throw to.

This was a really good win. It was a short week for BYU after an exhausting ECU. A less than 100% Tanner. Cincy coming in with 2 weeks to prepare off some monster offensive games. BYU straight dominated Cincy in the 4th. Cincy had -7 yards. Tommy conceded victory with 4 minutes left. Great times in Provo. So many great adjustments by these coaches. 5-2 without Taysom and Jamaal and the 4th toughest SOS in the country? I'm good with that.

If Mangum plays like Mangum in the first half and BYU doesn't commit those two stupid 15 yard penalties that were drive killers, a win by 4 TDs might be conservative.
