Yeah, the Pac-12 has it massive problems. However, it looks great in comparison to the Big 12. The Big 12 is so desperate to survive that they are about to invite a school that will cause a massive PR hit due to the schools active discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. The school that recently had someone from its sponsoring institution go on the campus and tell people to aim their muskets at the gays. The Big 12 is going to get hammered for it and they just have to bring BYU along because it is the only chance that they can even survive.

I'm here to take my lumps. I didn't really expect the Utes to win the game. It just felt wrong leading up to the game. Once the game started, I became even less confident the Utes would win the game. The entire game just felt different. BYU was better prepared, more motivated, and just ultimately a better football team than Utah. The game wasn't a circumstance of an underdog playing a great game to win, it was the better team winning. The game wasn't as close as the score. BYU at no point was in danger of even losing the game. It was a pretty dominating win for BYU.

The streak was going to end eventually. Nothing last forever.

I hope the rivalry continues to be played in the future. '

Right after the game, one of my son's friends - a big Utah fan - told my son he was going to unfriend all of the BYU fans on social media because he didn't want to hear all of their celebrating.

I told him to tell his friend to quit being such a pussy. He's been rubbing it in every time the U wins for the last 11 years. If he can't take this one loss, he needs to grow a pair.

On the radio Holmoe said he and Utah's AD talked, and the feeling between them was that they want this game to be played regularly-- not every year, because that might not be possible, but regularly. I sure hope so. No Utah fan is ever going to convince me there is another game that means more to them and I don't see any reason to think BYU fans will feel differently once we are in the Big 12.
