Oops. This is what I get for posting without reading. Actually, that is what I get when I post and don't even know what the idiot vocal portion of Utah's fanbase is collectively up to. What jokers.

Believe me, we have more than our fair share of idiots in our fanbase (some post here!). But when it comes to obsessing over the moral failures and "hypocrisy" of the opposing team, one side holds a near monopoly on that behavior.

Why do I keep putting physical in quotes, you may or may not ask? It is because I get tired of some people thinking there is no difference between playing physical and playing dirty, and from what I have seen and been told by Utah fans on our site, the BYU football team plays dirty.

Oh the irony...

It seems that if you want to know the truth it'd probably be best to talk to people that proponents, opponents, and neutral. Sure, BYU may play dirty, but is it really that much worse than any other program? I'm willing to bet that we are no better or worse than most teams. We just have the Ute fans that have such an obsession with BYU that they can't stop thinking/talking about it.

I don't think the people hanging out on UCLA's fan boards trying to convince them of how dirty BYU is are the Utah players and coaches. We can only hope the UCLA players are stupid enough to pay attention to what idiots are saying to them on the internet.

Well in that case I expect a barrage of petitions to not play BYU, complaints about dirty play, gifs of Ului's ball-smashing, etc. being scattered across the ether by a really pathetic contingent of UCLA fans. But only after UCLA's AD cancels a long-standing series with BYU and they no longer have any skin in the game or purpose other than to show their true colors as loser-ass shit bags with no life. We really can't be sure about what results this particular stance would produce vs BYU since we won't play this year.
