I think I wrote this after running into an old neighbor with whom I enjoyed rivalry banter before he moved away. When we tried resurrecting the old friendly trash talk, he just kind of sheepishly stopped in after a couple jabs and mumbled about how it is terrible that the streak is 10 years old. It was so sad to see the fire gone and the resolve faded. I just really miss those good old days when there was a chance that BYU could actually win.Comment
