  • Utes add Darren Carrington to their roster, days after getting kicked off Oregons team. What happened to the team motto? No DUIs. Pretty sure they have that on the wall somewhere.

It's only a DUI if you're driving down the wrong side of the freeway...

          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

          • come on guys don't be so cynical. whitt is a good guy, giving this kid a second chance out of the goodness of his heart. the fact that he was just kicked off the team that suspended him from the national championship game actually shows how compassionate kyle is. this has nothing to do with his football talent, utah's need for wr talent in its new offense, or anything else.

Totally agree, and clearly Whit would never go against his teams established core beliefs, just because a kid is talented.

yes, kyle has never shown a pattern for mortgaging his beliefs to win. he is fully committed to making his players the best people they can be and only recruiting players of certain moral and intellectual standards.

If the NCAA would allow it, I would buy him a pint at RoHa and provide him with a Lyft/Uber home.

Also, he may want to be wary starting in January 2018 of the absurd .05 DUI law here in Utah.

                    • Also, perhaps the only reason that he consumed alcohol in the first place is that he walked in a bar thinking he was walking into a restaurant. Once in the bar, he had no choice but to consume alcohol. In Utah he will not have that problem, as he will be appropriately informed before walking into an establishment if it is a bar or a restaurant.

That is adorable. You think he will be anywhere close to Utah on Jan 1st.
