IMO, it was a combination of our porous defense putting added pressure on our offense and Hall trying to carry too much of that load and forcing stuff that wasn't there.

Our porous defense gave up 35 against UNLV and 42 against Colorado State. Hall was forced to carry a big load in those games and did just fine.

Again, I think the biggest reason for his struggles against certain teams is that those defenses were just that much better than the rest of the competition he faced. Much like the team as a whole, Hall will do great against poor to good teams and struggle mightily against great ones.
