Here's the interview. Pretty standard questions about missions and such.

Tanner missed a golden opportunity to give a shout out to Harvey Dent and cool down the pace of the interview when Dan Patrick has no follow up. "Have you ever met him?" "No."

Tanner says his hammy is "tight" but he'll "be good to go".

I've suspected and have had it go through my mind but Tanner is officially better than Taysom in the passing game. Interesting to see what happens if Taysom decides to come back next year. Personally I think that if he decides to stay in football he will transfer to a school with a better business school.

Taysom is the X Factor. I'm not sure how you'd keep him out of the game at BYU next year if he returned. As good as Tanner is as a freshman, Taysom is on another plane of existence.

I disagree. Taysom is an incredible talent, but he's essentially Riley Nelson on steroids. Mangum is a better version of John Beck.

Are people still fantasizing about the myth of Taysom hill? Give me a break. 8 win taysom is going to come back, w.a.s.t.e. All the spring and fall camp reps, get injured again, and we are back to tanner anyway. Go away, taysom. Thanks!

I saw a tweet this morning that Mangum has now officially played more quarters than Taysom has the last 2 years.

The way Tanner is progressing, he will definitely have supplanted Taysom as the starter. Taysom is a stud, but he's made of glass and Tanner's accuracy is soooooo much better. Tanner's throws to the outs remind me of Beck's senior year, when Beck couldn't miss. I can't see the coaches give Taysom serious reps in fall practice when they have Tanner there as well as the knowledge that Taysom will likely end up hurt.

I can see Taysom transferring, but part of me wants to see him give a shot at fullback

Isn't Taysom running Goldman Sachs or something like that? I doubt he has much time for rehab.

I once reffed a BYU intramural game where a team played with two quarterbacks lined up about 5 yards apart from each other. The defense never knew which one was getting the snap and sometimes they would throw it back and forth to each other until someone was open downfield. We should do something like that next year with Taysom and Tanner!

Unless Harbaugh has someone on the bench that he is anxious to develop, Michigan seems like a pretty solid landing spot for Taysom.
