With respect to Hill's injury, we all had a feeling this was coming at some point this year. It sucks that it happened and I feel bad for him but I can't imagine anyone here is surprised.

Magnum looked pretty dang good. I am still excited for this year. Losing our Tuilomo during the most difficult part of our season hurts us more than losing Taysom in my opinion.

Too true. And those two have been some of my favorite players to watch at BYU over the years. They were both very strong and fast--perhaps too strong and fast for their frames.

While cleaning the ward building this morning, I congratulated my ward's YMP and Ute fan on the Ute's victory over Michigan. His wife, also a Utah alum, was wearing a Utah football t-shirt and wished BYU luck knowing I was an alum. She didn't notice I was wearing a Nebraska cap. I was glad to see Utah beat Michigan.

SportsCenter did a nice, lengthy bit on the game, including the post-game locker room talk from Bronco about Taysom and what he thinks of him, wiping away tears as he did so. Just before his talk, they showed him walking into the locker room and as soon as he saw the players, and they him, they all went nuts. It's pretty obvious the team is pretty tight-knit (although I suppose a last second win can create that impression).

ESPN also played Wrubell's play call while they showed, yet again, the catch. I may make the last five seconds of that my ringtone.
