    Does the rule say anything about what to call if the ball passes directly above the goalpost?

    I've changed my mind and I guess it was out or maybe would have hit the outside of the goalpost if it extended higher. I agree that the official has a better angle than any camera so I guess you just trust them.

    Neither camera angle will give you a perfect accurate picture. As someone who's been there the official is standing directly underneath the post sighting directly up the pole. none of these cameras has a better view than the official. It would be cool if they installed cameras with the same view as the official but until that happens you've got to take his word for it.

    I understood that. Personally, I think it's the less conclusive view of the two available. Still, you're telling me that you think that view leaves zero doubt that the kick was good?
