We would have beaten Oregon had Kaelin Clay not been on the take. You must have missed the stat that Oregon has not come back to win from 14 down since October 2, 2010. When Ohio State went up 14 and they said Oregon has not been this far behind all season I wanted to puke. Remember when Utah was down 30-27 in the fourth quarter? Doing even the arithmetic (forget the mementum) Utah would have been up 34-23 had Clay not given Oregon 14 points. This was Oregon's high water mark.

It was great to see Ohio State win, although a little bittersweet. Mariota is a fantastic player and person and I wish it could have ended better for him. It would have been great to see Oregon gets its first title as well. Hopefully it comes to them soon.

It seems the OL woes of Oregon finally caught up to them. Heck of a job by them up to that point. Meyer just out coached Helfrich.

Mariotta is a stud and I hope he's the first pick in the draft. I'd take him over Winston in a heartbeat.

I was going to pull a SU swish post, but searched and found I never posted my belief that Ohio State would win comfortably in this game. I haven't noticed a point spread in quite a while that I thought was a bigger temptation to put a lot of money down on. Ohio State was so physical in that Alabama game. Really impressive what UM is doing. Hate him, but he's obviously a good college coach.

You should really aim your ire at BYU fans who hate tOSU as HFN has been nothing but respectful towards you. HFN is one of the better humans on this forum. take a note from Brutus.

Ohio State will be abck in the playoffs next year. Their schedule is probably worse than FSU's this year. Sure they go to Lane Stadium in the opener but they won't let that one slip away. Then they literally play nobody until mid November. They will slip up somewhere i'm sure but they will be the hyped team and will be given the benefit of the doubt. Enjoy Urban for a little while longer before he heads to the NFL.
