Whatever, your excuses for losing shows your inability to accept the loss in your prediction of an Oregon win.. I will enjoy once again rubbing it in..

Ok. We have lost before and I know that we'll be back again soon. It happens.

Stop trying to be so nice..

Things are changing in BIG. We had a good bowl season and I expect it will only get better with Harbaugh at UM. Will be nice to drop the SEC down a few pegs..

          Good night ya'll

He deserves to be one or both. That was a big win.

                People overreact to this stuff.

Nobody has forgotten how down the B1G was this year.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the B1G West with Wisconsin and Nebraska having new coaching staffs. Was glad to see Wisconsin and Ohio St. win bowl games against the SEC. But I'll be cheering for the Ducks against the Buckeyes. Ohio St. has won multiple NCs, would be a first for Oregon.

You mean the B1G that is 5-4 in bowl games so far with a team in the national championship game? Smart call there, Douger.

There's no trend yet, though the Big 10 represented well today. But the conference could be on the upswing with Meyer at OSU, Dantonio at MSU and Harbaugh at Michigan. The fact that the Mississippi schools were dominating the SEC for much of the year probably indicates that the SEC simply wasn't that good year. Les Miles' shenanigans at LSU and Oklahoma State are exposed and now LSU is down. The SEC East isn't relevant. Arkansas isn't what they were back when Petrino was the coach. They still have the Alabama schools and aTm and I think Miss. State with that coach is the real deal. But perhaps the SEC domination of 2006-2012, might be a thing of the past.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I think you are right. The last couple of years I have kind of bought in to the idea of the demise of the B1G and the continued dominance of the SEC was due to demographic changes and projections (jobs and populations moving south). But that is utter horseshit. Talent will go where the best coaches are. The past decade the best coaching has been in the SEC. Now its in the SEC, the PAC, and now the B1G.

It's not just recruiting good talent, it's also developing that talent and utilizing it. In other words: "Talent is developed where the best coaches are.".
