I'm glad we had Stew this year. It was fun to watch him come in to his own.

Pretty disappointing year. If you told me we'd be 8-5 again, I'd have laughed. I felt like anything less than 10 or 11 wins this year was a huge disappointment. So, the season was a failure in my mind. We had the schedule to go unbeaten and did the same thing we did last year against a hard schedule due to coaching, injuries, and whatever else seems to always happen to us.

It's too bad Xian's career had to end with an INT. He had a really strong run, esp. for a walk-on, back-up QB whose major goal (perhaps you've heard this) was to throw a single TD pass. A tough season, but not without a lot of entertainment.

Good to have this season over.

Enough blame and bad luck to go around. I would rate this season a mild failure, if we adjust for the injuries and bad luck. Losing to Memphis made it a mild failure. If BYU had won, it would have been a mild, meekly mild, success.

i guess when your eye is split open you feel like you have to get one in even if it is cheap.

What's funny is that more people probably watched this game than those bowl games being played at noon on the last Saturday before Christmas. Neilsen ratings won't show it, but the WatchESPN ratings will.

More people will watch the Fiesta Bowl than the Miami Bowl and Vegas Bowl combined. It will be nice to be these little bowls out of the way so we can get to the big bowls.
