Why would P5 benefit him in at all? P5 schools don't have young QBs and try to run an uptempo offense? Last I checked Special K wasn't coaching college football anywhere, slow it down and slug it out no longer exists. Even at a big 10 school he is going to carry the ball 300+ times as a featured back.

To say a non-LDS kid can't live the honor code is total bullshit. Reminds me of my neighbor who got in a ton of trouble as a kid, arrested a few times but turned his life around. Well now his 16 year old son was recently arrested for drugs, DUI, trespassing, evading arrest, etc. He also impregnated his girlfriend. His dad says to me "You know what can I really tell him? He is a kid and I did a lot of dumb stuff when I was kid, its bound to happen" Because that shit is normal?

Its terrible to expect a kid to keep his dick in his pants and not use alcohol or drugs for 4 years. I would hope we are all raising our kids this way, obviously Funks not. Which is why we have people pieces of shit walking our streets right now, most white trash criminals grew up with white trash criminal parents.

I acknowledged in my initial post that it is a good place for some of the LDS population. It is not a good option for individuals that are not LDS. I called it a horrible place for the non-LDS and I stand by the statement.

Logic fail (sort of). Everybody holds their kids to different standards, especially when it comes to athletes. For example, funk is only a fan of some celebrity chick if she has sex with his favorite hockey player. Probably not a scenario he envisions with his kid. (or his wife!)

Since you are derelict in your logic fail posting about that particular cougjunkie post, let me do your job for you. It wasn't a partial logic fail, it was a full logic fail. Just because you think the antiquated parts of the honor code (i.e. alcohol and premarital sex) are unrealistic to be followed unless you have a spiritual basis for them, it doesn't follow that you are okay for your child, or an athlete for that matter, to consume illegal drugs.
