CJ, what do you know about Lake's status? Hasn't played (suited up?) in the first two games. I assume academic stuff - is this going to be an ongoing issue?Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostTroy Warner and Dayan Lake, BYU finally has some lock down corners.I'm like LeBron James.

Are there any power pounding Poly's at RB in the BYU pipeline after Algie Brown? I was thinking about that and I could not think of any. I find that depressing.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostTroy Warner and Dayan Lake, BYU finally has some lock down corners.
Who is going to be the DEs for the next few years after Kaufusi moves onto the NFL? I worry that our lackluster recruiting for DL is going to hurt next year. Edit: I think that DL recruiting has picked up the last couple of years with Nacua and the Poly who switched his commit from Stanford to us name just remembered Uriah Leiutua-orsomethinglikethat, not to mention Wayne this year. However, it will be a couple of years before that group will start creating havoc. Next year and perhaps the following year has me concerned especially if Isiah Nacua is not going to repent and return to the fold.Last edited by Goatnapper'96; 09-16-2015, 01:11 PM.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

How about some JC recruits. We could use a couple of ball busters on the defensive line.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostAre there any power pounding Poly's at RB in the BYU pipeline after Algie Brown? I was thinking about that and I could not think of any. I find that depressing.

What the ??? Can you save the the hand-wringing post about DL recruits for another day? Today is a day we celebrate Troy's commitment to the Lord's University. I believe!!Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostAre there any power pounding Poly's at RB in the BYU pipeline after Algie Brown? I was thinking about that and I could not think of any. To answer both you and SMR:Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostAre there any power pounding Poly's at RB in the BYU pipeline after Algie Brown? I was thinking about that and I could not think of any. I find that depressing.

Lake needs to catch up academically but remember he was in the 2 deep coming out of fall camp. He is legit.
Running backs: The target right now is Sione Heimuli-Lund from Brighton. He is best friends with Drew Jensen, and good friends with Torre. He is 6'1 230 pounds. Kid is an absolute beast. But he is a 2017 recruit.
D-line will be fine, what lackluster recruiting are you referring to? Uriah Leiataua is on a mission- remember 4 star kid who flipped from Stanford on signing day. He plays D-end. Mike Tafua another 4 star kid signed last year, Devin Kaufusi signed last year, Troy Hinds is still around, I think Kalolo Utu moves to D-end.
Recruits: We still have a shot at Maxs Tupai a 4 star kid from Murray, Keaton Bills a 3 star from Corner Canyon, Fua Pututau a 3 star from Cottonwood.
We already have 2016 D-end commits from Darius Macfarland, Pookie Maka (although its gone soft), Freddy Livai, and Solofa Funa (he is a Spanish Fork Don so you know he's good).
They have loaded up on solid D-end commits the last few classes.*Banned*
