You're right, it's an error. I doesn't affect anything because it was already played but it should be a -1.

Got it. Wasn't sure if it would impact future performance estimates.

Checking line movements. Many books opened at -14 and moved quickly to -16.5. I am surprised we're a 2 TD favorite.

I don't get that point spread at all. If I was a betting man I'd take the points all day.

Baby J has innovative game plan for Virginia:

If we play to our potential and not worry about the opponent and just play our game and not worry about the score ... just play, score, come off the field, let defense get a three-and-out and offense back on and score, if we just do that, we’ll be fine.

As long as his game plan does NOT include gently tipping passes to defensive backs with the game on the line, I approve!!!

But damn it, I was trying to forget that play.

Anyone else surprised to see the line is more than 2 TD's the week after UVA beat a ranked team? I expected something around BYU -7.5.

I always get a little worried anytime we are the favorite.

You're going to be worried every game this year.

I think there are some mitigating factors to that win; they squeaked by, it was a raucous crowd at home against a rival in what was probably their biggest game of the year. (They have no delusions about beating FSU)

One of the computer services or odds makers or whatever you call them has BYU winning 33-29. It is based on their computer model. I have no idea what their track record is like.

It will be interesting. If BYU avoids turnovers, which it has not done this year, then I suspect BYU will start pulling away during the third and fourth quarters. If Virginia wins the turnover battle then I suspect, it will be close in that range. But those numbers are weird. Scoring 33 or 29 points are strange numbers for football scores.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I am more worried about this game than I was Houston. But I'm still not that worried. The trip to Orlando was the game that most worried me in the first half of the season (after Texas) and I'm sticking with that.
