PI all the way. Easy call.Originally posted by oxcoug View PostAgree on the no-call with the horse collar, but the PI called against Daniel on their last possession would be left uncalled in most cases and ESPN never provided a clear second angle on the Preator call right before their last TD. Re the Taetu PF - he didn't actually say anything, at least there was no visible language on the replay. He just paused with the slightest pose for a half second after the tackle."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? What a crazy game. Still can't believe UVA was so effective on third down conversions and so completely dominated the time of possession and still lost.
Someone said we need to blitz more. We brought guys all day, they just picked us up.
4-0 baby.

BTW, I am not sure I have ever seen a better performance by a punter. That was incredible."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

The Notre Dame game from a while ago was maybe the only other one I remember. It might have been Payne that kept pinning the Irish deep inside their 5.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostBTW, I am not sure I have ever seen a better performance by a punter. And we should get Bronson and Algie back then too! And I believe it will be Kurtz's initial game.Originally posted by USUC View PostSprain. X-rays were negative. Should be good to go for USU."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Sorry, but there is no way he didn't say *anything*. It may not have merited a call, but i give the refs the benefit of the doubt because they are in on much more of what's really going on in those cases. Now if he was called because he hovered over the guy when really he was just knocked from behind, then that's a bad call.Originally posted by oxcoug View PostAgree on the no-call with the horse collar, but the PI called against Daniel on their last possession would be left uncalled in most cases and ESPN never provided a clear second angle on the Preator call right before their last TD. I don't know what it is with our DBs. They're with them step for step for most of these, but they don't turn and make at least some sort of play for the ball. Those are going to get called. At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
