We could play that game all day, though. TCU barely beat Oklahoma and Baylor destroyed them in Norman. TCU barely beat Kansas and Baylor throttled Kansas.

And Baylor's loss is to West Virginia. This doesn't work if you don't look at every bit of available data.

A loss week 2 is forever ago. No longer relevant.

Which win says they should be #1? Wake Forest?

They've each lost one. TCU's loss is better.

This argument is silly. It happens in polls all the time. Every year some team drops in a poll during their bye week. They literally didn't do anything to indicate they weren't the same ranked team the week before. Your argument dismisses what others accomplish. Sure TCU won and did exactly what everyone thought they would do. But tOSU did something nobody expected. While TCU didn't do anything to make anyone think they're not just as good as they were last week, tOSU did something today that makes everyone think that they are far better than what we thought of them last week.

It is relevant and it's why the regular season matters. You can't lose to a bad team and still expect to compete for a title.

Head to head should trump that all day, every day.

And neither should a team who didn't win their conference outright.

Thank goodness we finally have a playoff system so we don't have to have arguments like this anymore. All we have left to do now is solve racism by electing a black president and we are set as a nation.

Lol @ so called conference championships. Didn't Alabama, make it to the title game a few years ago, despite not winning their conference, and dominated the game showing they were clearly the best team and the so called conference championship meant nothing?
