It is tough to come from behind so many times. Eventually it will catch up with you...maybe.Originally posted by Surfah View PostI have no clue what is going to happen. It's bullshit that FSU is ranked 4th this week at all. It's damn near impossible to go undefeated, let alone win 30 in a row or whatever their streak is right now. That's insane. Exactly. You have to be rooting for FSU and tOSU right now if you're a BYU fan.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostIf FSU loses, then Alabama, Oregon, TCU and OSU. Baylor would still have a massive (and legit) beef.
And it would be bad for possible Big 12 expansion."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Rooting for those two teams for the sake of improving our chances vis-a-vis expansion is kind of like SU paying tithing.Originally posted by Surfah View PostExactly. You have to be rooting for FSU and tOSU right now if you're a BYU fan.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

I take it GT is significantly better than when BYU played them recently? I haven't seen them play this year."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

As we've seen most years in the BCS there is almost always an undisputed #1 and most of the time #2 as well. After that it starts to level off. Chaos and controversy this year or next might speed expansion but it is a certainty that the playoffs will continue to expand. IMO there will be pit stops at 8 and 12 teams before it gets to 16 teams. That was how the D1AA playoffs went, they expanded to 16 teams in 9 years. The other thing putting pressure on expansion is that the playoff devalues the bowl system at large. No one in the top 15 or 25 is going to want to go to a lame bowl game instead of an 8 (or 12 or 16) team playoff.
