But I am thinking if we prematurely break out the bubbly, it is not likely to offend the Cheeseheads like it did the my shit don't stink pretentious Euros. So when Sorenson boots through a 50 yarder, that if the net hadn't stopped the ball would have given a fan a concussion, with 28 seconds left in the game I expect tripleD and you to bust out the sparkling cider and party like it is nineteen ninety freakin' nine!Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

Yea, I like the Sorenson pick better than my pick to be Leonard. Unfortunately I wasn't as optimistic about this team as I should have been so when my brother bought tickets to the game, I told him not to get me one. I am now sorry. The bubbly will have to be broken out at home. However, that means the bubbly might be even bubblier than what I could have broken out if I had been at the game in person.

Hey Moran, I have been telling you for years that if Taysom Hill developed into an average D1 passer he would be a lethal qb. Be a better student of my posts.Originally posted by byu71 View PostYea, I like the Sorenson pick better than my pick to be Leonard. On the other hand don't worry, I am skeptical we will win either at ND or at Wiscy. I think their dbs will force us to execute 8-9 plays on a drive to get points. I am less than convinced our OL can hold up that consistently without penalties or missed assignments that screw up drives. I don't forsee BYU eating up chunks with 20+ yard pass completions very often. I also think we will have to win the turnover battle to win the game. Offensive greatness will not come until next year.
But unless BYU is blown out and fails to compete I doubt I will come away anything but optimistic for next year. Now if we win one or the other, we are going to be getting some serious pub going into next year especially if our sophomore phenom is the reason we beat one or the other.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I worry a bit about next year losing Hoffman. I don't know enough about any up and coming receivers.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostHey Moran, I have been telling you for years that if Taysom Hill developed into an average D1 passer he would be a lethal qb. I also worry about the D since we lose some great, great linebackers and Ethan is no slouch on the D-line.
On the other hand, the schedule is a lot easier.
Oh and by the way sticks and stones may break my bones by calling me a "moran" can't hurt me.Last edited by byu71; 10-28-2013, 08:38 AM.

One of the great things about Taysom's great leap forward in the passing game is how he is spreading the ball around. Losing an all-timer like Hoffman will always suck, but I'm not as worried as when it was Nelson only throwing to Hoffman and no one else. I think we will be ok at WR.Originally posted by byu71 View PostI worry a bit about next year losing Hoffman. I don't know enough about any up and coming receivers.

Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

Will you let us know how your kids feel about using your tickets? I like to poll folks about that and I know you have sons so I thought I might ask!Originally posted by byu71 View PostI worry a bit about next year losing Hoffman. I don't know enough about any up and coming receivers.

I was actually going to say something about that, but too many wussies on this board get their feelings hurt and are easily offended. There is a very thin skinned group on here. As one who disdains trolling and yanking chains, I am going to respect their easily hurt feelings and not say what my kids think.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostWill you let us know how your kids feel about using your tickets?
