I hate Boise State. I grew up in the 208, when the grass grew off of the sunshine that a NC and the Superbowl Shuffle produced... everyone in Eastern Idaho acknowledged that the Cougs were OUR team. Something happened while I was away, though, because I came home to visit for the holidays and everybody was rocking those orange shirts and that logo that you would definitely get teased about if you had worn them just a few years prior. Bandwagon a$$ Mu*%^$.

I hope Taysom just drops the hammer on their sorry asses and shows them how Idaho wins her way to fame.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I'm not positive about this, but I think the statistics will back this up. Up until that point in his career, Payne was much more accurate than he was from that point on. IIRC, over the next 8 games he was pretty much awful.
It did. Payne was money as both a kicker and a punter until that game. After the big hits, he tanked. I thought he had potential particularly as a punter at the next level. He got the shanks after that game and absolutely fell apart. Too bad, because he was very likeable.

This. 7 to 8 guys in to protect, only 2 to 3 guys running routes. We didn't have players capable of sticking with them man to man, so we weren't able to bring 9, and they were able to eat us alive.

Can we start referring to Boise as Utah lite? Both fanbases make my stomach turn.

You could call Utah BSU lite since they can't beat Boise too.

News flash: On average, mobile quarterbacks are going to perform better against any team.

True. I am looking forward to improving this state's reputation on Friday.
