It has been pointed out, but is there a less exciting, more meaningless rivalry game than Utah/Colorado? I would be 90% of the country doesn't even know these two are paired as rivals, let alone when they play. As far as national awareness goes, your rivalry game is KU/KSU pre 1990, only without the tradition.

    • The key for Boise State to win this game is being able to take advantage of the defense when the opportunity is there, o-line being able to get a push against a great front line and open holes for Ajayi to get started, Hedrick to not get rattled when KVN rocks his world and be able to make the easy throws and limit the turnovers, especially the defense from scoring. If the d-line can get pressure to Hill like Utah and Houston, I like our chances of keeping the offense in check.

USA Today lists BYU/BSU as #7 in their Top 10 games to watch this weekend. I didn't see Utah listed even with the draw of USC to help.

This, my friends, is how gentlemen talk smack. Factual, yet subtle and understated with just a whiff of condescension. Well done, KC.

Unlike your incessant lecturing on board etiquette.

It's like trying to knock Tennyson into some people's heads with a two by four. And to think I do it for you out of love.

Your transformation into LAU is eery. Just gave me the shivers.

Like you would know buzz of anything that doesn't come from an apple Martini.

                  • I think I made a sensible suggestion. I don't know how our rivalry with Colorado is relevant or why it came up.

I don't see how it's a Holy War... but a lot of Idahoans sure hate Utah for some reason. I'm sure it mostly has to do with jealousy over Utah's big malls.

I'm trying to figure out a clever way of suggesting that I'm really letting you get over on me on purpose, all in an effort to lull you into a false sense of your own self worth in the CS caste system. And just when you think you've silenced me with your circular logic and reminders of board etiquette, posting something short but incredibly effective thus rendering you impotent, literarily speaking. Something that goes for the board equivalent of a screen-pass touchdown.

                          It'll come to me.

Really, I heard on the radio this morning the announcer or the color guy for BSU said this game means a lot more to BYU than it does BSU. Since BSU is out of a BCS hunt, the conference games are far more important than the BYU game because they are playing those games for a shot at the conference championship game.

The money is great by going Independent, but I think everytime we knock Utah we are just showing how delusional we are. Our greatest schedule in history isn't even comparable to Utah's regular schedule.

I could be wrong. What top 20 program are we looking forward to seeing in LES next year?

I think you just did it. I don't know exactly what it was, but I think you just did whatever it was you set out to do.
