i liked it more than a loss. BYU has had plenty meaningless wins. Winning always provides hope for tomorrow.

I do, at least fans in Fort Collins, Laramie, Colorado Springs, San Diego and other MWC or WAC members would have checked to see who won because it could have affected the conference standings. Outside of Provo and Murfreesboro nobody really cared about the game yesterday. Even though we won after a couple of weeks of delay, America was in crisis, air travel and civil liberties had been greatly restricted. thousands of innocents civilian had been murdered, and as a nation we were mentally prepping for war with an unidentified terrorist state. You still cared more because you wanted to see what kind of numbers Mcmahon or Young would put up in there race for the Heisman. If Hill wouldn't have gotten hurt or BYU was still undefeated you would have big interest in every game going forward. I was really happy for the win. It's great that BYU stopped losing to crappy teams, and are actually beating crappy teams again. That may sound cynical, but I don't mean it that way. It's something to build on. The team was in a really dark place--darkness like the days of the Crowton Era. I'm just hoping this means we can move past it to something better. I'll take it, and look forward to better days.Comment
