Collie should be off his mission. So should Weeks.

Anyone else we're missing? What about Mike Davis? Or is he a permanent switch to CB?
I was pleasantly surprised with Matthews and thought he was much improved over the previous 2 games. Remains to be seen if he can continue and grow into a greater threat for next year.

The 2013 award goes to the wide receiver corps.
Last I checked Thornton was part of the 2013 wide receive corps - even plays a lot and gets quite a few balls thrown his way. Was he hyped individually? Not that I remember, but again, that wasn't the point of the thread.

Relax. I was seriously asking if Thornton was hyped and I missed it. Never heard much about him.

Sorry, I thought you were busting my chops. Not hyped that I can recall, just looks really bad for a guy who plays a lot and gets a lot of balls thrown his direction for this hyped group of wideouts.

Thorton was hyped. He was supposed to be next Nate Meikle. The super-walkon of the year.

I have also wondered about Davis. I hope they can move him back to WR. Mitch Matthews has some potential. I wonder where the TEs like Mahina and Wilson are. Houk has played but I don't think he has caught a pass. Marcus Matthews must be in the doghouse. I thought he was an intriguing player and he has some experience.

I worry about Kurtz too. The Oregon and USC offers look really good now I bet.

I've had the same thoughts recently. If they aren't going to play Davis at CB, sure looks like they could use him at WR.

In regard to Kurtz, for purely football purposes, yeah it's a concern. Who knows, however, how the religious side or commitment to Bronco plays into these decisions.

I wonder why tf there isn't someone open on an underneath route every down a la Matt Allen or Nate Meikle in 2006. Where are our tight ends? There should be one to release every time a blitz comes. It seems like our go-to pass route is Cody Hoffman on the sideline streak, and I about shit my pants with joy that one time TH found Matthews across the middle in stride. Hey I'm no expert on football, but this is what haunts me.

We made little to no effort to isolate their LBs.

And we only found Hoffman on the crossing route on the last drive, seemed like 3 times in a row.

I had never heard of him until Saturday when I was asking "who in the hell is #6 and why is he on the field?"

Me too. Seldom have I seen a receiver fight less for a ball.

We made Jason Whittingham look like an All-American. 2 very good D-ends and an enormous space eater in the middle also helped immensely. They filtered the runner right where they wanted him to go: into the waiting arms of the linebacker.
