Like many Americans I have enjoyed and shared Lane Kiffin humor since he looked like the boy protagonist of a Disney film while trying to coach the Raiders. His joyride of destruction from Rocky Top to USC has been remarkable. Now is a good time to take a look back at all he's accomplished and some of our favorite moments.

His joyride of destruction from Rocky Top to USC has been remarkable. Now is a good time to take a look back at all he's accomplished and some of our favorite moments.

Fair enough. Let's start with the basics.

He is married.
He has a lot of money.
He has had a series of glamorous jobs.
He doesnt ask others to explain football to him.

How do you stack up with Lane so far?

I've read anything from Gruden to Peterson to Jack Del Rio.

Do you have any guesses on why Gruden hasn't gotten back into coaching. I'm sure plenty of teams have thrown a lot of money at him.

That's what John Madden did. Which I think is what Gruden is heading towards, being a HOF announcer. I'd hate to see him at SC.

Yeah of course he does. He asks his defensive coordinator and position coaches and paid consultants to analyze tapes and share their more detailed knowledge of specific opponent personnel, schemes and probable matchups.

Now that I know I'm competing with him I'm feeling pretty good about it.
