This trip is already starting off on the wrong foot. I was denied permission to tour the Pentagon

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not going either. If you can find a way to Vegas, you are welcome to watch the game with me and my family.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I don't think you're missing much. Did you just try and register for a tour? I know they have a lead time of usually a month or so. I think the minimum is 14 days.

I did try to register but I missed the minimum cutoff by one day

I did score a tour of the Capitol, though

Im excited to buy some of those Obama Hope t shirts while I'm out there!

I think they've all been replaced with Snowden/NSA shirts.

No can do. I like to buy my Obama tshirts in Washington DC. Similarly, I only buy Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts at the actual restaurant I am visiting.

Buy an extra one to give to Il Pad. As his loyalties typically rest on a free t-shirt he'll be voting D in no time.
