I feel bad for him. By all accounts he's a good kid. I really would like to see him succeed.Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostWow Jake Heaps looks bad. I haven't watched them at all this season but I'm waiting for UCLA-Oregon to start on ESPN and watching Kansas-Baylor on ESPNU. He's putrid.Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost.

I went to Utefans today to see how they are dealing with the struggles of the past few weeks. They have as high a stringpuller concentration as the BYU fanbase. I know USC has its challenges but they still have great athletes and very good coaches. Utah has lost to OSU, USC, Arizona and UCLA while beating Stanford, BYU and USU. He still will likely get the Utes to a bowl game in another year enormously disrupted by injuries to the most important position on the field. At this point they don't seem to have any bad losses, especially considering their injuries. I have no idea what Ute fans are expecting.
Travis Wilson has two weeks to heal, I think he will. Utes will rebound in a chilly game against ASU. I think the Utes will beat ASU.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Next year won't be as difficult as this year, but it's not easy. At Texas, Boise and UCF. Plus we have Houston and Utah State. It's the perfect kind of schedule to make a run. A couple name wins on the road and just enough difficulty to stay respectable.Originally posted by USUC View PostNext year's schedule is kind of stinker compared to this year's. But I like that UCF and Houston are looking to be good programs."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

If they hold on to this game, they have a real good chance of being 11-0 going in to their last game at home against TAMU.Originally posted by USUC View PostMissouri really taking advantage of a down SEC East.
Would be nuts to see and undefeated Mizzou face an undefeated Alabama in the SECCG.Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I do love Mizzou's uniforms this game.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostIf they hold on to this game, they have a real good chance of being 11-0 going in to their last game at home against TAMU.

I think Bama would kill them, but Bama is supposed to kill everybody - that's why they are ranked number one. I will say that I'm surprised that Mizzou is doing this well in the SEC, even if the East is down - I never thought of them as a tough or great team in the first place, and figured they'd be middle of the pack at best.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

It's interesting that the two Big 12 teams who were always "okay" in the Big 12 have each had a year where they look great in their respective divisions of the SEC. The flip side of that coin is that the other two teams to leave the Big 12 in Nebraska and Colorado haven't fared as well (Colorado needs no explanation, Nebraska got lit up in the B10 Champ game last year, lost to a bad Minny team today).Originally posted by Pheidippides View PostI do love Mizzou's uniforms this game.

I feel bad for him too. Unless he has some miraculous turnaround, it looks like his hopes of playing at the next level are over. The kid has spent a good portion of his life making a potential NFL career his top priority, even giving up a potential BYU degree for a crappy KU one in the desperate hope that Charlie Weis wasn't as crappy a coach as he proved to be at Notre Dame. He better start making new career goals, if he doesn't have a backup plan already.Originally posted by Harry Tic View PostI feel bad for him. By all accounts he's a good kid.
