( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Are those glasses going to fit over the paper bags on their heads?

I'm still not sure what to think of him rolling into the draft with a stained collar.

Ziggy signed his contract today. 5 years...but nothing mentioned of the amount.

Lions are the first team to have all 9 of their draft picks from this year inked.

Man...I am happy for that kid.

That is so cool. He can buy half of Ghana now. I understand this news will be incorporated into the first discussion presented to young male Ghanaian investigators.

Wow. Lotto money. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

One imagines Ziggy's friends or family back home, watching video of a football game for the first time, and marveling "Wait, he just got $12 MM for doing THAT?"

Well, technically it could have happened to a nicer guy but another draft has come and gone and now I'm just hoping my agent can get me into a camp to show what I can do. But I must admit that, now that I'm in my mid-40s, my time in the shuttle has slipped and, frankly, things aren't looking good.

So, all things considered, I really am happy for Ziggy.
