I actually think Hill did a fairly good job of not allowing defenders to get a solid squared up hit on him most of the time.

But I agree with the concept that he needs to run a whole lot less than he did last year.
Eight carries per game or less. Run out of bounds. Slide. Don't put up with the horseshit of a player who says he won't do those things because that's just how he is. I couldn't believe when Riley would talk to the media about how he just can't bring himself to do it.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

No kidding. Wow that's great for a free safety, but if my QB is on that nonsense maybe bench his ass? 20/20, right?

Remember that time when we started a QB w a broken back vs. Utah and then vs. Boise State when we had 2 viable options behind him chomping at the bit, and then watched helplessly as he fumbled and bumbled those winnable games away? I loved that!

I'd have benched him for doing that. You slide/run out of bounds or you're benched.

Of course, he'd have never started if I was the coach. I'd have told him he can play special teams or maybe get in on a trick play on offense.

Hill needs to stay healthy, so those have to be the rules for him if he wins the job. I like his speed and I think it'll be an asset to us, but the runs need to be infrequent.

I would make Taysom Hill watch film of both Kaepernick and Russell Wilson. They both do a great job of sliding and getting out of bounds. Mike Vick not so much.

cj, are you serious about Alisa over Williams? That would be depressing. Personally I'd like to see what Lasike can do.

I'd guess there will be plenty of carries for both of them.

What's up with Ammon Olsen? Why is he not in the 3-deep?

The name alone should get him within 3-deep.

I'm sure he's got an arm.
