I have a lot of Catholic friends (mostly from high school) and my Facebook feed today has been fascinating. A couple of hours ago people were coming out of the woodwork to state their support for "God's team." Then the game begins and the complaints of religious bias begin, from the announcers to the refs (who obviously don't want a Catholic team to win). And then very quickly to the "it's obvious which team actually get an education and which team just plays football" card.
