All you said is they backed out of the game. Meh. Oregon deserves a shot at the title so does ksu and nd. Too bad the PAC and other conferences were too dumb to support a playoff earlier.

Maybe if the SEC was willing to say winning your conference should matter then the P12 and B1G would have been more supportive.

KSU will have beaten 7 bowl eligible teams if they run through that league undefeated, as well as the Miami Hurricanes. Games don't work out for a variety of reasons.

Since your metric is beating bowl eligible teams, if Oregon runs through the P12 undefeated they will have beaten 9 bowl eligible teams, including having to beat one of them twice.

USC will have like four or five losses by that point. Will that even be that impressive of a win? Will anybody besides Oregon have less than 3 losses? There's the whole winning a tougher league thing that KSU would have as well. Then there's that whole Notre Dame problem as well.

I was just using your metric of bowl teams, toughness of said bowl teams was never mentioned in your post about the superiority of K State's schedule having 7 bowl wins.

Also the bowl teams that K State beats are going to continue losing to each other, so will anyone in the Big 12 have less than 3 losses?

As I said earlier Notre Dame and Oregon will have fairly comparable games, both play SC in LA, both play Stanford at home, both play a borderline top 10 team on the road. That at least provides some kind of valid competitive comparison.

I'm excited that Oregon could have their best team ever and get to play Purdue in THE ROSE BOWL GAME.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you that Purdue won't be playing in the Rose Bowl - maybe you can hope for Indiana - the Hoosiers have at least won a Big Ten game. With Nebraska's win over Michigan, the Cornhuskers now have the edge on winning the Leaders Division and playing Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship.

There's still a lot of football to be played. Oregon St. still controls their destiny and might win the PAC-12 North. But I understand Duck fans' concerns over being left out of a championship game since it has happened to them before.

If KSU wins out, they have played a better schedule. irrelevant as to who dropped whom, especially since it was a mutual agreement. ND actually has a D.

Yeah, it's all because the PAC10 passed BYU over, so we're just unable to call it straight. Spin away.

Sagarin isn't the only one that thinks the B12 is better than the PAC. The computers all think that. They like Notre Dame's schedule better too. Notre Dame and Oregon are close in the BCS ratings right now. KSU is a bit ahead of both. Maybe they'll think differently if Oregon beats USC a couple times.

I'll just go wallow in self pity now, because my objectivity isn't all there due to my BYU fanhood.

The PAC built its rep by beating a bunch of historically bad Big 10 teams. At least the PAC doesn't have a losing record against the MWC this year. That's an improvement.
