Preseason polls carry too much weight in how things ultimately unfold. They should delay the rankings of any major human polls for at least a couple of weeks.

I like that list.
Heck with the BYU/OU game. I want to go to the Texas/OU game."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Hopefully they do turn out to be very good...then they can beat Florida.
And their schedule this year is very favorable. Their toughest road game is at Auburn, and their first four games are @Memphis, vs SE Louisiana, @SoCarolina, @Vandy. When they host Alabama in week 6 (they have a bye in there, too), that could potentially be a match-up of two top-5 teams.
All that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose a head-scratcher somewhere in there, too."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

Good...
...I think a real advantage for the Utes last year was having BYU take all of the media pressure for the conference. I would like to see TCU/Utah carry the brunt of it this season and see if the Cougars can play more relaxed...playing to win instead of playing not to lose.

He was no slouch before that, as 74% winning percentage and 22-1 in his last 23 games attest.
