Hey thanks, I've looked everywhere and couldn't find any black BYU tees in youth sizes. This will do the trick.

I bought my son some Badger sport BYU hear and it's been ok.Originally posted by Surfah View PostIf anyone gets to the bookstore could you post here about the shirt. I have never heard of Badger Sport and just wonder about the B-Dry material."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Went to the bookstore this morning on my way to work. Picked up a flex fit beet digger hat, the dri-fit hoodie, and regular game day t shirt. I now own 3 items of BYU gear in black, so BYU's cash grab worked.
Hats are made by zephyr, so if you are familiar with Z quality, then there you go.
The dri-fit shirt looked and felt similar to a UA shirt, but I didn't care for the neck. It was larger/wider and made me think of George Costanza ruining that cashmere sweater with his large, bulbous head. I am expecting to see a lot of garment shots at the game because lots of guys will buy this shirt and wear crew neck Gs with it. I passed and bought the regular cotton tee. Nothing special about it and not a particularly high quality shirt but it does the trick for this one-off event. It is similar in make to the other $10-type shirts BYU produces (think the white Jimmer t shirt).
The hoodies came in the standard cotton and the dri-fit. On the hoodie, I went with the dri-fit. I have a navy Oval Y hoodie by UA and I like it so I thought I would try it out again this time around.
There was an "alternate Y" hoodie there that had some crazy blue background in the oval. I must say that it looked better in person than it did online. In fact, I was tempted for a second to go that route but decided against it.
I also saw a really awesome Nike track jacket that I was immediately going to pounce on until I saw that the back of it had been Crowtonized with that awful BYU logo.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Based on what I saw today, there wasn't a ton of supply on the floor. I would like to think that BYU is simply being conservative in stocking the shelves, but judging from past merch gaffes, I would recommend a purchase sooner rather than later. They did have youth sizes in tees and an XS hoodie that could work for chilluns.Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostHey thanks, I've looked everywhere and couldn't find any black BYU tees in youth sizes. Looking to order the Retro BYU logo hat (Zephyr style). Also looking at the B-Dry fit short sleeve one.. Based on what DDD said I think I am OK.. But will take a look at the B-Dry hoodie now...
First purchase of BYU gear in a very long time. So it has worked for me too.. The retro hat did it for me.. I am soooo stoked to get it... It is effing cool..

Ugh. Total deal breaker. An ill-fitting neck is absolutely my biggest pet peeve about a T-shirt (odd-shaped or odd-length sleeves are probably second). And a properly sized neck is especially important on a dri-fit type shirt, since the collar itself is generally thinner.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThe dri-fit shirt looked and felt similar to a UA shirt, but I didn't care for the neck. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

The "neck" was basically a very thin seam. There was no traditional "collar trim" around the neck. It took me all of a second to put it back down and walk away.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostUgh. Total deal breaker. I like the royal blue mixed in more with the black. This is probably the one I will get.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostYes.
