Have you tried the new Rivals store in the Gateway? I've heard them advertise on the radio that they have blackout gear. Not sure about kids sizes."You interns are like swallows. You shit all over my patients for six weeks and then fly off."
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. It's my fault for overestimating your competence."

I didn't want to go downtown this afternoon, and I had kind of a swing shift at work, so I went to Scheel's and hit a few Fanzz around here. Pretty limited.Originally posted by hostile View PostHave you tried the new Rivals store in the Gateway? I've heard them advertise on the radio that they have blackout gear. Hopefully we can get in early tomorrow, and buy them some stuff.
My son told me that he likes wearing his football jersey to school, but it's getting a little small and he could wear a hoodie in the winter.
Hopefully they have some stuff at the bookstore and it hasn't been took picked over. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Yes they do as of today at 4:00. Bookstore employees are dumb, though. I overheard a woman ask for dri-fit blackout gear in children's sizes, and the employee answered in the negative, but that she could find comparable children's apparel in some other section of the store. I interrupted and said, "hey isn't that a rack of dri-fit blackout gear in children's sizes right behind you??" The inquiring woman brushed past the employee and offered a thanks to the employee before combing through the rack to inspect the gear.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostDoes the bookstore have blackout gear in children's sizes?
My son wants a black hoodie and he is coming with us, and i"m sure kid sister will want one as well.
I've looked around up here in SLC today and can't find anything.

Ya, they don't care. They're just kids putting in time to get a check. Most don't care about what they're doing.Originally posted by Commando View PostYes they do as of today at 4:00. It used to bug me and I'd think about why they're so clueless, but then you think they're paying them 8 dollars and hour and they're busy thinking about American Heritage, ramen noodles for dinner, and how they can get that sexy RM accross the way in the Riv to pay them a bit more attention.
Thanks for the info, We're planning on hitting it up tomorrow morning about 1030 or so.Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I have an ISP that provides ESPN3 access. I can watch ESPN3 from any internet connection by logging into the ESPN3 website using the user ID and password I obtained when I first purchased service from my ISP. If you know someone who has service from one of the affiliated ISPs, maybe they will let you use their log-in information.Originally posted by Clark Addison View PostI don't get ESPN3 because DirecTV is my provider.
Is there anyway to get ESPN3 for the game? Also, if I do get ESPN3, can I start watching 3 hours after kickoff and start watching from the beginning of the game?
Regarding playback, I've had to either watch the live stream or watch the archived game after the live stream ends. I haven't found a way to play from the beginning DVR-style while the live stream is playing."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone
"What choice?" - Abe Petrovsky

Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap. The Time Machine is malfunctioning.

I went to load it tonight, it started fine and ran for a few minutes and then just died. No fuel - looks like a bad fuel pump. And here I sit with 15 lbs of pork shoulder, cole slaw, Moochies rolls, ABTs, drinks, etc.
I'm wondering what I should do. I can load everything into our van and come down and sleep in a tent. I would have to hope that my van battery and YT's marine battery would get the smoker through the night. I have a small generator I'm also bringing, but I wouldn't want to run that during the night.
My other option is to stay home tonight and cook the meat and then show up in the morning without the RV. Only problem is that is likely will be raining and without the RV we'll be out the rain. I don't have a canopy.
I guess the third option is to bag it all and invite some people over for dinner on Sunday. I guess it's time to upgrade the Time Machine."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

Sorry about the RV problems, kc. Major bummer there. We were planning on coming down to your tailgate party. But thanks for the Sunday dinner invite. It sounds really delish.Originally posted by kccougar View PostCrap, Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap. The Time Machine is malfunctioning.

So come on by tomorrow anyway. I decided to go ahead and cook the meat at home overnight and bring it down tomorrow. I'll probably be there around 10 and plan on breaking out the pulled pork around 11:00. I'll be in the NW corner of the RV lot next to a blue Honda OdysseyOriginally posted by mtnbiker View PostSorry about the RV problems, kc. Major bummer there. Ah! My first thought was who do I know that has an RV that would just let me borrow it. I didn't think I knew anyone that generous.Originally posted by Shaka View PostDang, if I'd have read this quicker we could have arranged for you to borrow my version of your Time Machine."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. I'd let you borrow it just so it got some use. I haven't taken it out this year. Unfortunately need to clean it up a bit or I'd say come get it.Originally posted by kccougar View PostAh!
