Who is Brian Smith? He is making some bold claims about Robert Woods playing despite having a concussion.

Brian Smith (@UtahInsider) tweeted at 2:15 PM on Tue, Oct 09, 2012:
@ScottEnyeart @espn700bill @LevOnUSC I sat immediately behind Woods while he underwent the tests. He failed multiple verbal tests...

Utah gave up a touchdown to a guy that failed a concussion test?

I was going to say he sure didn't play like someone who had a concussion. Sour grapes maybe by this Brian character?

Why try to make trouble for USC? They invariably make their own without any help.

and now this guy is quickly backing down. "I couldn't hear everything they were saying" "I just want to keep the dialog open on concussions"

              what an ass.

considering his staggering, swaying swan dive face plant at midfield after he and Blechen hit, I was a little surprised they didn't hold him out the rest of the game.

He may have said he was okay, but those syptoms suggest otherwise.

Regardless what the concussion tests results were, and how he ended up playing in the rest of the game (which was incredible)...

Woods would most certainly, without any doubt whatsoever... would have failed a standing eight count. His bell was completely rung... and it was obvious.
Dude went to run off and almost face planted on his wobbly knees. He left the field with help and counting fingers in front of his face.

Good thing it wasn't a boxing match, I guess.

Yep. The point I was attempting to make was in response to Scorcho's comment (below).

Fighters can be knocked out... without suffering a concussion every time. At least they haven't identified it as such throughout the history of those sports.
