This puts us so much further behind for next year. Shit.

A Youtube video on CB shows clearly that Hill was holding his lateral aspect of his leg (just below the knee). Could be the fibula, the tibia (hopefully not, especially near the top of the tibia) or the knee joint itself.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostLooked like a hyperextension of the knee, no? Probably has some torn knee ligaments I would think.
Yeah our coaches are idiots."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."

Are we now in the market for aJCwalk-on with grit QB?
Premature, I know."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."

He was walking pretty gingerly I thought. Maybe the orthopods or smarter docs will correct me, but I think you could have pretty serious ligamentous injury to the knee (PCL tear?) and still potentially walk on it like that.Originally posted by MarkGrace View Post
Looked like he was walking fine after the game. What could have happened?

You can walk with a torn ACL.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostHe was walking pretty gingerly I thought. Maybe the orthopods or smarter docs will correct me, but I think you could have pretty serious ligamentous injury to the knee (PCL tear?) and still potentially walk on it like that.
Doman has to go.

I have been amazed at how poor many college coaches are at clock management at the end of games. Bronco and Les Miles are some of the worst offenders. Now Bronco backs up all my complaints in the worst way possible. I was watching updates on the gamecast in a different country and I knew we should be taking a knee.

That was my thought also. He was favoring his leg. I've had a torn ACL and walked ok. Sure it was after the swelling was down and not right after the fact, but I walked off the field on my own power.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostHe was walking pretty gingerly I thought. I was saying the exact same thing. I couldn't figure out wtf we were doing running that second option play and then even after that running a qb draw. I was screaming for them to just take a knee. I seriously can't believe the cluster that doman is showing himself to be.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostSitting in the south endzone, I did the math after the first down and knew we had won but wondered if the coaching staff even knew the game was over. Then we ran a option (is there a riskier running play). i started yelling at the top of my lungs to take a freaking knee. Then the QB keeper that ends the season of our freshman QB. Just shoot me now.

I will say that "x-rays" are not the kind of imaging you would likely use for a knee injury. MRI would most likely follow a good exam by the orthopod.
I realize this might seem overly technical, but if these guys are going to start a rumor they should at least try to sound a little educated. Given how well he was walking I'm optimistic.
Add this to the long list of decisions that vividly illustrate Doman's utter incompetence.

They're more and more aggressive in the recovery, but the first year is kind of a wash and they seem to be a lot stronger after that. Rashard Mendenhall, RB Steelers just did one back in Dec and he's playing this Suday.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostACL is a year recovery, no? Can he still qualify for a med rs or has he played too many games? This fucking sucks! Will donate kidney for B12 membership.
