I realize this might seem overly technical, but if these guys are going to start a rumor they should at least try to sound a little educated. Given how well he was walking I'm optimistic.

Add this to the long list of decisions that vividly illustrate Doman's utter incompetence.
Every knee injury I have had has started with X-ray to diagnose.

Xrays on the knee are overall useless. You don't usually see much. Most knee injuries from a football standpoint are ligaments or cartilage, and you don't see that on Xrays very often.

But yeah, they'll get one initially and move on to better imaging studies.

If true maybe this will be the mistake that makes Doman pull his head out of his ass with regard to his running qb offense. I would say maybe this is the mistake that will get him fired, but I doubt that will happen since he is bronco's golden boy.

Usually more a twisting injury or more with lateral movement on an ACL. PCL is certainly possible with that mechanism.

X-rays are good for bones, they shoot them as a formality, but unless you suspect a broken bone they are useless.

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I'm not disagreeing with that, hell they would even tell me that before they took them, but having had more than my fair share of knee and other ligament damage, they took an X-ray. Everytime.
