                The correct answer is no. The long answer is mocking kids who are earnestly trying to do their best, and are by all accounts good people is never peachy, IMO.

                    That's my issue with him- and with the coaches right now.

                    Riley looked hurt. He looked hurt last week. He had no zip on the ball, had a defeated look on his face from snap one, couldn't even hold the ball tightly leading to several inexplicable unforced fumbles, and wasn't seeing the defense. He clearly shouldn't have been playing. He shouldn't have been playing after the first quarter at Utah. He wasn't man enough to tell Bronco he wasn't healthy enough to go. And Bronco wasn't man enough to tell Riley what Riley didn't want to hear.

                            Hold on, partner. Riley stinks. Some of the anger over these losses is appropriately directed right at him. He is to blame specifically for a lot of the crap that is going on in the game. He is the QB, this is his responsibility.

                            Complaints about the direction of the program or even the direction of the offense are way above his pay grade, however.

                            All this leadership stuff is puzzling. A good leader knows when to strategically step aside and let others lift some of the weight. I have seen lousy leadership from both Bronco and Riley these past two games.

                                I kinda of feel you are expressing what I feel. There are things more important than winning football games to Bronco. Don't get me wrong, he wants to win badly. Emotionally though he is tied to grit, the non star, et. al. and will give that guy more of a leash on his grit than pick someone with more talent or healthier that will give him a better chance to win.
                                I think along with the win, he just wants to do it based on his criteria and doesn't want to adapt.


                                I don't know how many of the big time recruits (so called) Bronco has gotten has flourished. VAn Noy certainly. Anyone else?

                                    I live Riley. He's a balled with limited ability. He did more with a noodle for an arm than The #1 rated QB out of high school. That says something.
