        I've never been a fan.

It's not that I don't like the kid.

He just sucks and I feel like we've dinked around with him for three years at this point while not developing other options sufficiently. I'm just surprised the coaches think he's a special player. His leadership is great, but you can lead in other ways when not playing QB.

              I still like him.

Apparently he's injured though so I won't hold it against him. I won't hold it against any of these players because I've noticed for at least the past two seasons that there are some serious coaching issues with this team.

He still has balls of solid rock. He just can't throw a foosball.

Wtf does that have to do with anything? My neighbor growing up had huge balls would do anything, crazy and he could probably play qb better han riley.

He sucks at qb and you could almost say he has hurt his program far more than he has helped it. He managed to weasel his way into the starting job and run off a possibly good qb. The coaches fell in love with his grit and leadership and couldn't even see the truth, that he is terrible. I hiohly question their ability to even evaluate talent. I have been saying this kid sucks forever.

This is all about coaching. Sure Nelson isn't a great QB, but the coaches made decisions that put him there. They didn't recruit anyone better/haven't coached up their QBs to be better. I like Riley. I hate the offensive coaches.

Has Shaka admitted Riley is an awful awful QB yet? Worst QBing I've ever seen at BYU.

The decision to keep Riley in after TCU or even San Jose St and put our whole program on his shoulders was the worst coaching move in Bronco's tenure by far. What a disaster. MG/Hsaru/Surfah/DDD/Douger/checoug/foogcoug/and everyone else with a brain, we were right the whole damn time. 100% no questions asked right.

Riley was the worst thing to happen to this program since Crowton.

BYU sold 2012 for a win against USU.....sold the future for a fluke win against USU.

I said it last year, with Riley this is a 7/8 win team.

BYU should have continued to flame with Heaps, or see what Munns/Lark had. Anyone with a brain knew what Riley had and what his ceiling was. Those who should evaluate their football posts for a bit include: GM, Shaka, LC, SMR, Moliere, CA, Viking and the rest of the Riley cheer section.

Now the QB position is jacked to all hell for the next 2 years.

                              Awesome!
