I'm really glad this game is on Friday night. My dad was able to get the day off work, so we'll leave at 11 or 12 and hang out up there. He spent a year at USU, and hasn't been back in 30+ years.

I'll miss playing in Logan. I like driving through Sardine Canyon in the fall and seeing that campus.

Cache Valley autumns are awesome. Second only to new england. Have a great time. I haven't been to Logan in 15 years. From what I have heard it is a much different place than it was even in the 90s. Have they finished the touch ups they were doing on their stadium? I remember they were putting some money into the north endzone.

It looks like the line is Utah -7 now. Also the money line is Utah +264 and Utah State -236. So that's an implied probability of winning of between 70-73%. On the other hand, so far the Utah fans on CUF are far more optimistic than is warranted by the spread.* If you look at the predictions so far by Utah Fans (12 posters ... so a small sample), the average predicted margin of victory is 17 points (a 17 point spread typical works out to about a 10-15% a team loses). Based on that, it appears that most Utah fans would view a loss as somewhat shocking but it would be more like a mild surprise if Utah St wins.
