  • Battle of the Brothers: Utah vs. Utah St.

The Utes head up to Logan for the 110th meeting with the Utah St. Aggies coached by former Ute DC Gary Andersen. Utah holds a 77-28-4 all time record vs. Utah St, and has won 12 in a row in the series.

Gary Andersen has certainly improved the program up in Logan and was in the discussion for the CSU job last year. A solid year this year and he could be heading for bigger and better things.

I look for the Aggies to keep it close early, but for Utah to ultimately wear them down en route to a 2-3 TD victory.

I also look for Peterson to make his $#@&* kicks.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Ok, since no one else will get this rolling...

Utah wins and looks good in the process.

This would be a much cooler thread, if you and UD were having some kind of cage match. My money would be on DnF, unless Gabers somehow got involved.

brothers? really? I always thought USU was the red headed kid of the family that everyone thought was either adopted or the result of the mailman's over-zealousness. Nobody ever claimed it as a brother.

Utah almost gets upset but wins in dramatic fashion. Ute fans choose not to rush the field.

Good indicator game for the defense. Keeton is easily among the top half of the QBs we will face this year, and if we can make him below average or horrible, it falls on Utah's offense to determine how much we win by. If Keeton shreds us, it could be a long night. But I give that a 1 in 5 chance of happening.

Since the offense isn't all the way there yet, I predict Utah will be favored by 7, give or take the hook, and win by 10.

I think usu has a good chance, maybe as high as 40%, to win.
