Delta is charging normal rates to change tickets (even though the flight will likely be cancelled). Airlines are about 3 steps worse than oil companies and strip miners on the greed scale

AA did it with no charge, though I did have to stop her from getting me tickets from Houston to New Orleans, which she was originally doing.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostDelta is charging normal rates to change tickets (even though the flight will likely be cancelled). Blaine Fowler said Delta was not charging change fees. Ok. My brother is an idiot. My SIL clarified what is going on. Delta did wave the $150 cancellation/change charge. However the price difference to NOLA is $300 per. So they are going to be watching the game from the Big Easyboy in HD.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostMy bro tried to get his tickets changed this morning. I'm not going, although I can get to the Dome in a little over an hour.Originally posted by Pelado View PostAre you still planning to attend the game? Have any difficulty in getting the tickets traded out?
I occasionally enjoy the French Quarter before/after a game but not with the other nonsense going on. Not that I'm intolerant, just some things I don't like to look at.
I bought my tickets from an LSU season ticket holder, and he's already refunded my money via PayPal.

This is amazing to picture a bunch of BYU fans in "Quest for Perfection" Tees and jorts walking through the Decadence Festival unwittingly. Can someone please take lots of pics?Originally posted by LSUfan71 View PostI'm not going, although I can get to the Dome in a little over an hour.

I would, but since I am traveling with my 12 year old daughter, I may stay away.Originally posted by HBCoug View PostThis is amazing to picture a bunch of BYU fans in "Quest for Perfection" Tees and jorts walking through the Decadence Festival unwittingly. Can someone please take lots of pics?

I-10. Easy ride. When the Super Bowl played in NO a lot of folks fly to Jackson and rent a car.

I checked the airfare, but turns out I can't make it. Wasn't planning on Houston, either.Originally posted by Crockett View PostAnyone here going to NO now, but wasn't going to Houston? I was planning on taking a road trip down to H-Town but then Harvey. Then someone on here said that the cotton bowl was most likely the replacement so I was planning on make the long road trip across town to that but that didn't happen. I was thinking of taking the family down to NOLA for the long weekend and the game but now gas is hard to find around here. So now we are just getting some whataburgers and watching it at home most likely.Originally posted by Crockett View PostAnyone here going to NO now, but wasn't going to Houston? Brennan's was better than advertised last night. Blackened redfish was so delicious. Stopped at Cafe DuMonde for a beignet this morning to tide us over until we get to Crabby Jack's for lunch.
