Haven't seen the judgement, but my guess would be it has something to do with regular season 6-6 and "winning" the PAC south.

      Crazy.

After that horrific beatdown they suffered the other day, you would think that they would have enough pride to not push the issue. Beat Oregon or go home.

Look at the bright side. They could now be the first team to finish 6-8.

I'd like to hear the thoughts from Big East teams should a 6-7 UCLA team get a bowl invitation. OTH - and no offense to HFN - I would think it hilarious should a 7-7 UCLA team play in the Rose Bowl.

It's a win-win for those of us who hate the BCS.

The waiver is in place so teams who finish the season bowl-eligible aren't punished for losing a "postseason" game.

And this isn't a case of "ASU 2010" where they played two FCS teams (only one of which counts for bowl eligibility) and Wisconsin; they lost to Houston and Texas OOC.

I think they already told him he would not coach in the bowl game. While I don't think UCLA comes within 20 points of Oregon, this has the makings of some freaky inspired "win one for coach" setup, where the bruins play inspired and angry.

              Ha. never mind. just kidding.

A dream scenario, to be sure.
