It is too bad that Boise and TCU aren't in the same conference, they always play great games. I think the MWC under better leadership would have added Boise when they added TCU and would probably be a viable conference now.

A mix of MWC, C-USA, and WAC, but that would be a really good football and hoops conference. New Mexico and UNLV are your teams that help you get a couple wins in football, but are extremely valuable for basketball. Oregon vs. Stanford probably deserves its own thread, but I'll mention this here... A local columnist mentioned this morning that one should check out the field for tonight's game. Stanford last cut its grass (sounds like a euphemism, but it's not) a few days ago, and the mowers were intentionally set to high. Couple that with wet conditions, and Oregon's speed advantage may be minimized tonight.Comment

I guess the theory is that a slow field hurts an Oregon-like offense more than Stanford's power-oriented O (yes, despite Luck, Stanford's O relies more on Clydesdales than thoroughbreds). UH has historically laid an egg in Tulsa, and that game would be scary given the struggles against LA Tech earlier this year. However UH has hit an incredible stride. Hopefully the to undefeated.
