I thought he made more contact on the pick than he did on the alleged PI, but either way, he made up for it. I'm a bit surprised he didn't land an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on top of the PI, he was really giving it to the official.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

It looked like that for a few minutes. But now that I think about it, they regained their composure, which they haven't really done this season when things started falling apart. Or have they? Anyway, it was nice to see some signs of growth in that department.

According to LiveCoug, Corby Eason could have made that play with his eyes closed and one hand behind his back.

        • Congrats Utes your two game PAC-12 win streak. Colorado sure likes like a great add for the PAC.

If there is some other way he plays it is not apparent.

I see him turn a lot of no gainers or one yard gains into 3 or 4 yards.

The guy is a warrior. He's a ton of fun to watch. Maximum effort on every play.

That block that he sold out on ( on the play that resulted in a tipped pass) was awesome. He lit up the much bigger AZ defender. It's not just his running that is so enjoyable. It's his blocking, too.

To borrow a phrase from local Utah sports talk radio, "pound for pound" he may be the best player in the PAC12.

I wouldn't say that, but it's arguable that he's the 3rd or 4th best RB in the PAC-12. Is anyone better than Polk, LaMichael James, and John White? Can't really think of anyone.

Derrick Coleman at UCLA is the best big back in the league hands down, and has been pretty good for the Bruins when they've had leads. His numbers ain't the same as White's, but he's also used far less than White because UCLA has a solid 1-2 punch with Coleman and Johnathon Franklin.

Utah's run defense is one of the best in country, and the best in the Pac-12, but UCLA provides a scenario we haven't seen this year with the best 1-2 RB punch we've seen this year.

What do you mean? I thought that DeLuigi and Q were the best we would see this year. :stirthepot:

                      • I got this from the Ute board. It is a very cool illustration of how tough John White IV is. That defensive lineman is probably close to twice his weight. I'll bet Cullen is grateful too.

Since White is in the pac 12 and will rush for maybe 1,300 yards this season, he can be a legitimate Heisman candidate next season.

Cullen picked up the inside rusher, like he should have. White nails the blitzer. Asiata had some great blocks as well.
